This Indenture made the twentieth day of May in the year of Our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & three Between Peter Berry of the town of Fishkill in the County of Dutchess and State of New York of the first part and Cyrenus Benjamin of Fishkill afores’d of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for & in consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars current lawful money of the State of New York to him in hand paid the receipt Whereof is hereby confirmed and acknowledged have bargained sold remised and Quitclaimed and by these presents do bargain sell remise and Quitclaim unto the said party of the second part in his actual possession now being and to his heirs and assigns forever All that two lots pieces or parcels of land situate lying and being in the said township of Fishkill aforesaid Bounded as follows. Beginning at the Southeast corner of first lot by a birch tree marked standing by a brook at or near the line of Valentine Wiltsons land from thence Northwest up said brook to a Butternut tree marked standing at or near the line of lands sold Samuel Brewer from thence a Northwestwardly course along the line of lands sold to the said Samuel Brewer to a Butternut tree standing by the road from thence Eastwardly along said road to a bridge over said brook from thence Northwardly up said brook to a saw mill dam from thence Eastwardly to the East side of the grape swamp from thence Northeastwardly on the East side of said swamp to a Walnut tree marked from thence Southeastwardly across said swamp to or near lands I this day sold to the said party of the second part by a heap of stones on a rock on the West side of said swamp from thence along said line of land a Southeastwardly course to the first mentioned bounds Containing by estimation fourteen acres- Second Lot Beginning at a stake & stones it being the Northeast corner thereof and adjoining the lands as aforesaid running thence south one degree and forty five minutes East nineteen chains & fifty links to a stake and bush and stones to [?] Mors’s line, thence Westwardly along along [sic] said Mors’s line by the fence as the fence now stands to Jeremiah Coons line from thence Northwardly along said line to the line of said party of the second parts line from thence along said lines to the first mentioned bounds containing by estimation [two?] acres Together will all and singular the hereditements and appurtenances therein to belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest claim or demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditements and appurtenances: To have and to hold the said bargained premises will warrant and forever defend against me my heirs and assigns forever unto the said to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second party his heirs and assigns forever In Witness whereof the said party of the first part have hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written ---- [Signature of] Peter Berry

State of New York S.S.: On the 14th day of April 1817[?] personally came before me John Phillips Master in Ch’y Peter Berry known to me to the be same person within named and who has executed the within Quitclaim Deed – and the said Peter Berry before me acknowledged that he executed the same as his act and deed for the uses and purposes within mentioned – And I having examined the same and finding therein no material alterations (except those noted) do allow the same to be recorded – [Signature of] John Phillips
